Perfect for all outdoor water activities such as swimming, surfing, snorkelling and sailing, this swim & sun shirt is:

A UPF50+ rating means the fabric meets the most stringent Australian and International UV guidelines ensuring the wearer Maximum Sun Protection with 97% of harmful UV rays blocked.

Other unique design features include full length long sleeves, a high coverage neck, flat lock stitching for comfort and strength and hem elastic to keep the shirt fitted.

All Terry Rich Australia swim shirts are made using highly advanced Nylon Xtra Life LYCRA which resists fabric breakdown more than 5 times longer than the average chlorine-resistant spandex. This is critical for UV swimwear and rash vest as they are exposed to salty sea water, harsh chlorines and strong UV sun rays during their lifetime and will fail quickly if not constructed of technically advanced fabrics. Xtra Life LYCRA is built specifically to withstand these exposures.

Terry Rich Rash Vests and Swim Shirts are proudly made in Australia. Fabric composition 80% Nylon, 20% Xtra Life LYCRA.

Care instructions for Nylon Xtra Life LYCRA

Washing: gentle machine wash at 40 degree C. Bleaching: Do not use chlorine based bleach. Ironing: Maximum sole-plate temperature of 110 degree C. NEVER iron the branding logos. Drying: Avoid spin drying. Squeeze off excess water or delicate spin. Hang to dry in shade. To prolong the life of your product we also suggest you:
- Rinse well in cool, fresh water after use
- Dry out of redirect sunlight
- Do not pack or store while wet
- Be careful not to catch on rough surfaces such as concrete and swimming pool edges

PLEASE NOTE whilst the fabric will hold it's shape well in chlorinated water, chlorine remains very harsh on fabric colour and can also effect colourfastness when chlorine levels are high. For garment colour longevity and to avoid colourfast issues ensure rash vest is washed thoroughly in fresh water after exposure to chlorinated water and avoid heavily chlorinated pools where possible.

This rash vest is designed for boys and girls who love to be active and comfortable while at the same time being well protected from the sun.

Care Instructions

You can find all care instructions on the inner care tag of your Swim Robe, however standard care options for our Swim Robes are as follows:

  • Hand / machine wash using cold to warm water (40°c maximum is suggested)
  • If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected
  • Use only very mild detergents (approved for wool/ silk)
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Avoid mixing with other colours
  • Do not iron
